JAG Adoptions Expand to 40-Plus Sites
Career Choices has now been adopted for use in more than forty Jobs for American Graduates (JAG) programs. Formed by a coalition of business leaders and government officials, JAG aims to keep businesses healthy and Americans employed by educating young people about career development, job attainment, job survival, basic skills, leadership, self-development, and personal skills.
Career Choices meets JAG requirements because, according to one JAG consultant, "It is motivational. Students relate to it and really enjoy it. It is attractive and user-friendly. It is sequential, building on preceding activities and exercises. It teaches a process students can use over and over again and it culminates in a comprehensive planning process that is esteem-building."
