Module Four
Classroom Strategies and Tips for the Career Choices teacher - 180 to 360 minutes
Lecture - 60 to 120 minutes
Hands-on activities - 120 to 240 minutes
This module is especially well suited for:
Schools that have adopted the Career Choices curriculum and need training for the teachers who are going to be teaching the course.
English/Languages Arts teachers to demonstrate how they can incorporate a career and life-planning theme into their academic classroom.
Workshop participants:
Investigate and become comfortable with the interdisciplinary aspects of the curriculum
Explore the comprehensive Instructor's Guide , a valuable resource they'll refer to for ideas and support
Actively participate in actual activities, brainstorming, and discussions -- the same content they'll cover with their own students

FACILITIES REQUIRED:
Each of the above workshops require:
A room with round tables for the lecture/activity portion
A computer lab with each computer linked to the Internet and staffed by a technician. Ideally, each workshop participant should have their own computer, but the workshop is still valuable if two participants share a computer.
